Why Clients Choose Miller Contract Security Advisory

We assess, document, and support compliance with PSPC's Contract Security Program — and nothing else. That focus is what makes the difference.

PSPC Contract Security Program Specialists

Our advisory practice is dedicated exclusively to Canada's CSP and CGP. We do not offer cybersecurity, physical guarding, or general risk consulting.

DOS vs. FSC vs. CGP — Correctly Scoped

We assess which program obligations actually apply to your contract, avoiding unnecessary controls, duplicated effort, and scope creep that delays approvals.

Audit-Defensible Documentation

Security plans, policies, and procedures that satisfy PSPC review — developed from practical experience with what auditors actually look for.

Advisory Language Aligned with Legal & Procurement

Documentation and correspondence drafted in procurement-safe language that your legal team and contracting officers will accept without revision.

Spiria Digital, NATO Secret Readiness

Challenge: A digital engineering firm pursuing work at the NATO Secret level required a rigorous assessment against the full scope of the Contract Security Program.

Result: A comprehensive gap assessment framework spanning personnel and facility security, information and document control, information technology including TEMPEST, Foreign Ownership, Control and Influence, subcontractor security, and incident management, giving the client a single authoritative roadmap.

Varcon, Foreign Prime Sponsorship at PROTECTED A

Challenge: An Ontario manufacturer holding a subcontract from BAE Systems Australia needed Canadian organization screening, with sponsorship arriving through the Australian Designated Security Authority rather than a Canadian prime.

Result: A Designated Organization Screening with safeguarding was identified as the correct and least burdensome instrument, and the Security Requirements Check List and sponsorship package were corrected before submission.

Global Manufacturing, Controlled Goods Security Plan

Challenge: A defence manufacturer handling controlled goods under a Department of National Defence contract needed a working program rather than a document.

Result: A Controlled Goods Program security plan carried through five revisions to final issue, supported by a security risk assessment, transfer and disposition records, six-month reporting, visitor controls, and training material.

Pace Global, Designated Organization Screening

Challenge: A professional services firm entering the program with no organization screening of its own.

Result: A detailed gap report and remediation plan across eight compliance domains, sequenced into a prioritized schedule and critical-path timeline. Designated Organization Screening was granted.
